F&P are the condition of the path: fair and poor.

R&H are the grade: rolling and hilly.

According to the key, anyway.

Old Maps Online is at this address http://www.oldmapsonline.org/#bbox=-122.013477,39.011469,-121.013721,39.407305&q=&datefrom=1000&dateto=2010. You can move the base map around to focus on an area and then old maps are linked in the right hand column.
